Issue 01/06: Subway Special

The latest issue FoodService Europe & Middle East is on its way to our
readers in over 50 countries all over the world - mainly Europe and
Middle East.
Highlights in issue 01/2006:
- European Survey: Museum & Foodservice Part II. Museums are "in"
and as restaurant locations even more interesting. Meaning,
besides café/bistro/bar you can now see fine dining more
frequently and also as event location. The European journey
continues in Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, Russia and all
the way north to Sweden.
- Subway Special: Close up on the fastest growing fast food-concept
in Europe. Founder Fred DeLuca and Area Development Manager Europe
Kevin Graham talk about strategies in the key markets in the "old
continent", the subway enterprise philosophy and the economic
foundation of the high-flyer.
- Stadium Catering: An analysis regarding foodservice in 12
WC-Stadiums in Germany in the run-up to the Mega-Event "World
Championship" this summer. A dozen ultra-modern sportarenas with
increasing professional foodservice-business are preparing to
welcome over 3m "friends from all over the world".
- Middle East: Focus on Kuwait. From airline catering over local
players up to event catering - the foodservice market in the gulf
emirate develops rapidly and already has a value over 1bn US $.
Additional: Amsterdam City Guide, News from the Spanish market and a
spotlight on the (potential) future of the gastronomy, the secret of the molecular kitchen.
By the way: FoodService Europe & Middle East is increasing its
publishing rate to a bi-monthly frequency, 6 issues per year.
