Inexpensive Destinations Worldwide

 
The world’s cheapest destinations in terms of hotel pricing became even less expensive in 2009. After heavy room rate reductions (-27%), Thailand’s capital Bangkok is still the lowest priced destination worldwide. The average room rate dropped from €63.06 to 46.27. In Prague and Krakow, the world’s second least expensive destinations, average hotel prices equally declined. For both rankings, HRS evaluated all bookings from 2009.
