Quickservice: 6% More KFC Units in Europe

 
A glance at the restaurant figures for the individual countries quickly reveals that around half of all units are located in Great Britain. And this applies to both KFC and Pizza Hut.
 

The two YUM! brands are represented in most countries with the notable exception of Belgium, where only Pizza Hut is to be found in large numbers, and the Czech Republic, where solely KFC has a significant presence. In terms of Europe as whole, KFC grew 6.2% by outlet numbers in 2008 (growth rate in 2007: +9.6%) while the number of Pizza Hut units fell slightly.
