The Gregory’s Foodservice Group
established the first outlet of their coffee-bar concept Coffeeright inside the Gregory’s store in Marasli Street at the heart of Athensin 2002.
 
Today, 139 Coffeeright stores are operating in Greece (126), Romania (10)and Cyprus (3). 85 of them are franchised. There are two store models in both closed(captive) and open (high-street) markets: one is a shop-in-shop solution together with the Gregory’s concept, the other is an autonomous Coffeeright concept.
 
The authentic atmosphere and friendly environment invites customers not only to enjoy their coffee, but also to escape their daily routine. The concept focuses on fast service combined with the high standards of quality coffees, from the recipe and the ingredientsto the preparation ritual, the serving and the packaging. A holistic concept of ‘city espresso bars’ that did not exist in Greece before 2002.
 
The basic varieties of coffee (espresso, cappuccino, Instant, Greek, filter) are served alongside tea, juices, smoothies, special drinks and, in the autonomous stores, there are complementary food items, which make up 15% of sales. The bestseller is (still) instant coffee (especially the iced version, Greek frappé), but espresso-based specialities are gaining momentum.
 
13 stores are currently under construction, the target is 30 new locations in 2007.
