Pan-Asian Supper Club: A New Dimension in Frankfurt


 
It’s not only a great head-turner but also a huge entrepreneurial challenge – Zenzakan, the new Pan-Asian Supper Club, which opened in the basement of a downtown location at the beginning of September 2009. With total floor space of 2,000 sq m the formula made in Frankfurt certainly represents a new fine-dining dimension.
 
To a large extent, founder Christian Mook was inspired by Anglo-American trends. An influence that is also to be seen in his other three restaurants, Ivory Club, Surf’n Turf and M Steakhouse – all in Frankfurt and all aimed at a premium demand. The target group: especially business people who have already seen and experienced much. In the case of Zenzakan, the key to this is a grandiose setting. This begins with a fabriccovered entrance area watched over by two man-sized bronze lions and continues through into the smallest corner of the XXL location: the Geisha Room, a romantic booth for just two people.
